Cicada - Kabini is an ecotourism resort that aids in forest conservation and is located on the banks of the Kabini river near the popular Nagarahole Wildlife Sanctuary in South Karnataka.The Kabini region plays host to over 300 species of birds. Amongst the cormorants and the jungle mynahs, rare ones like the blue-winged parakeet, the Indian grey hornbill and the little scaly-bellied woodpecker lend a fleeting dash of colour to the expansive greenery. Besides, the river?s proximity to the forest makes it an ideal watering spot for most of the wildlife in the jungle. In fact, in the summer months, one can witness the largest congregation of Asian elephants on the banks of the Kabini River. Nagarahole region is also assumed to have the highest density of tigers in India. At Cicada ? Kabini, we have a number of activities for our visitors. However, you might also wish to lounge about in your luxurious cottage facing the river and embrace the solitude that has whittled away in this fast-paced generation. Rates include accommodation on full board basis. All reservation must be guaranteed with credit card. 100% cancellation fee will be collected if cancellation is effected within 15 days prior to the check in date. Payment is requested at check-in and after check-in there will be no refund for early departure. IMPORTANT: This reservation confirmation cannot be used for visa or Consular purposes. Children stay free up to 6 years and will have to share the bed with the adults. Cancellations must be processed via the same system used to make the booking. Email, phone calls and fax are not accepted for cancellations.
